Building your site...

With your text and image content in hand... your empty site and URL... and a preliminary structure, we'll begin building your site. We use Microsoft FrontPage as a primary development tool.

As a first step, you should browse through the Graphic Themes page in this website and pick the top three that you like. We'll be able to show samples using each of them in order to help you reach a final decision on the "look and feel" of your site.

We should also have agreed on the number and kind of pages that your site will need, so that we can draw a "map" the shows that structure of your site.

The Map...

To illustrate, here's the map for our Omega Webs site -- the one you've been browsing.

Your map will have a Home page and then several levels of pages, depending on your content. It's important to keep your site simple, with relatively few levels, so that visitors have no trouble browsing through it. We'll build this structure based on the decisions you make on the number and type of pages that are needed.

The Process...

We'll develop your site page-by-page on our computers (off-line). At each step, we'll "bridge" the communications between us using email. And as we finish a page, we'll "publish" it to your site so that you can see what it looks like.

You'll find that it's interesting and enjoyable to see your site taking shape each day.
