Help Visitors become Customers...

A $100 bill is a little inspiration for what is likely to be one of your prime objectives -- selling your web 'products.' This will be an easy step for you, since we'll do most of the work.

All you'll need to do is open an account with 'PayPal', let us know the Username and Password, and we'll handle the rest.

About PayPal...

The first important thing about PayPal is that there is no charge for using it, until someone makes a purchase. PayPal offers a secure, convenient way for customers to purchase your products on-line by credit card. It has mulitple-millions of web customers, so you have a lot of people already using it. It's proven.

To sign up, you'll just go to the PayPal website and open an account. You'll get a user-name and password for accessing your account.

While you're signing up, pay particular attention to their "Verification" step.  All payments customers make are deposited in your PayPal account. And periodically, you'll sign on and initiate a wire-transfer of deposited amounts from their account into your personal/business checking account (at your bank).

Check out the PayPal site carefully, since it's the control panel to financial transactions from your site.

Verification...

When you sign up, PayPal will ask you for your checking account number. Then they will make a small deposit into your checking account by wire transfer and ask you to verify the amount that they've transferred. You'll call your bank to check on the deposit, and this will verify, for both of you, that the account is set up and that it works.

Setting your site for business...

The final part of this step is for us to integrate the PayPal shopping cart into your site. When you click on this image (from Mimi's Art site) you'll see an 'Add to Cart' button under the price. Your customers simply click that button to make a purchase. Similarly, there's a 'View Cart' button at the top of the page where customers can see and modify the contents of their carts.

We'll take care of all the programming and placement of those buttons on your site. And that's all there is to it.

At this writing, PayPal charges each transaction a $0.30 flat transaction charge plus 2.9% of the value of the order.

It's very important for you to thoroughly browse the PayPal website, download the manuals, and make sure you understand the relationship you will have with them. The relationship is between you and PayPal. Omega-Webs is not a party to your relationship nor does it have any liability for PayPal.
